Terms of Service

Last updated: May 30, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Wallendar (“Wallendar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a public space where people leave short, anonymous notes on the wall for a given calendar day.

By using Wallendar, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Wallendar.

1. Who can use Wallendar

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Wallendar. By using Wallendar, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding agreement.

2. The service

Wallendar lets people read and post brief anonymous notes tied to a calendar day, along with optional moods and lightweight reactions.

Notes you post are public and anonymous by design. They are visible to others and are not attached to your name or an account. Treat anything you post as public.

Wallendar is not a private journal, emergency service, therapy service, or professional advice service.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post.

By posting content to Wallendar, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, make available, moderate, remove, and otherwise use that content as necessary to operate, protect, improve, and promote Wallendar.

You are responsible for the content you post. You confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not violate these Terms, our policies, the law, or anyone else’s rights.

Please do not post sensitive personal information about yourself or others.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to post, submit, encourage, or engage in any of the following:

  • harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, or targeted abuse;
  • hate speech or dehumanizing content targeting people or groups based on protected characteristics;
  • sexually explicit content, or any content that sexualizes or exploits minors;
  • content encouraging suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous behavior;
  • personal or private information about others, including doxxing;
  • impersonation, misleading identity claims, or attempts to deceive others;
  • spam, scams, phishing, malware, excessive links, or automated/bulk posting;
  • illegal content or activity;
  • content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • attempts to break, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or circumvent the security, access controls, or rate limits of Wallendar;
  • use of Wallendar in a way that disrupts or harms the service, other users, or our systems.

If you are going through a hard time, you are welcome here. However, Wallendar is not a crisis or emergency service. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline.

5. Moderation, reporting, and removal

Anyone can report a note.

We may use automated filters, community reports, and human review to help moderate Wallendar. We may hide, remove, refuse, label, or limit the visibility of content, and we may limit, suspend, or block access to Wallendar, at our discretion, especially where we believe content or activity violates these Terms, creates risk, or harms the service or community.

Reported content may be hidden while it is reviewed.

We are not obligated to monitor all content, but we may do so. We do not guarantee that all harmful or prohibited content will be removed immediately.

If you believe your content was removed or limited by mistake, or if you want to ask about a moderation decision, you may contact us at the email below.

6. Anonymity and post management

Wallendar is designed to be anonymous and does not require accounts.

Your ability to manage or delete your posts depends on the anonymous token stored in your browser. If you clear your browser storage, switch browsers, or use a different device, you may lose the ability to manage posts made with that token. We cannot recover the token for you.

Because Wallendar is anonymous, we may be unable to verify that a post belongs to you unless your browser still has the associated token or you provide enough information for us to reasonably verify your request.

7. Service changes

Wallendar is actively developing. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Wallendar at any time.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and provide reasonable notice where appropriate. Continuing to use Wallendar after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Disclaimers

Wallendar is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

Content on Wallendar is created by users. We do not endorse user content and do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, safety, reliability, or usefulness.

We do not guarantee that Wallendar will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at all times.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wallendar and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Wallendar.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wallendar and its operators from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from or related to content you post, your use of Wallendar, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of- law rules.

Disputes will be subject to the competent courts of the Republic of Korea, unless mandatory local consumer protection or other applicable law provides otherwise.
